Meet Taylor Krasne
Founder of Kambo Works | Certified Kambo Practitioner
Kambo Works was created out of necessity — born from my own search for real, lasting relief when nothing else seemed to work. This practice was never about chasing trends or stepping into a healing role for the sake of it - it came from years of frustration, exhaustion, and a deep need to find something that would finally support my body, mind, and spirit.
I’m Taylor, founder of Kambo Works and based in Los Angeles. I’m an actress, motion capture performer, circus artist, and stunt double for artists in the entertainment industry. My body has always been the center of my career and for much of that time, it was also my greatest source of pain and struggle.
Diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease in 2014, I entered full-time circus training at the National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne, Australia while battling unrelenting fatigue, gut dysfunction, and autoimmune flares. I trained eight hours a day, five days a week while experiencing constant injuries, depression, and mental burnout. Behind the scenes, I was barely functioning.
Determined to get to the root cause, I worked with gastroenterologists, functional medicine doctors, and naturopaths — over and over again. I followed strict protocols, took every supplement, went through multiple rounds of antibiotics and herbal antimicrobials, but my symptoms persisted and I became a mystery case, even to my most dedicated practitioners.
When someone I trusted suggested I try Kambo, I said yes out of desperation. I wasn’t interested in the spiritual stories or traditions at the time. I just wanted to feel better.
That first session changed everything.
Within minutes, my body purged what years of treatment couldn’t touch. My inflammation decreased, my digestion began working again, and most notably, my C-PTSD symptoms (particularly anxiety and chronic stress responses) lifted in a way I had never experienced before. And the shift was lasting.
That moment became a turning point not just in my health, but in my sense of purpose. I realized I could take what I had been through and use it to hold space for others walking a similar path. I built Kambo Works to be a space that is safe, sincere, and truly client-centered.
My goal is to expand access to Kambo within communities that often push through pain without pause — entertainers, athletes, stunt performers, actors, and other high-demand professions where the body and nervous system are constantly under pressure. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, unseen, or dismissed. This work exists so others don’t have to walk that part of the path alone.
I understand what it feels like to be dismissed, misdiagnosed, or simply unheard, especially when navigating healthcare systems that often overlook complexity. There’s a specific kind of isolation that comes with navigating your way through life looking for answers or living in pain not many can see. Kambo became a turning point for me, and I offer it now to remind others that their pain is real, and it deserves care.
My role is not to heal you, but to hold a space where your system can begin to do what it’s designed to do: heal itself.
I’m not here to fix you — I’m here to walk beside you as you find your way back to yourself.

The Other Half of the Story
When I’m not working with Kambo, I work in the entertainment industry as a stunt double and performance artist for major productions.
